Dietitian Crohn's Colitis Australian Network (DECCAN)

Connecting dietitian’s through identity.

The challenge: DECCAN was a start-up network of Dietitian’s actively working with Australia's inflammatory bowel disease community and they needed a brand that embodied their the passion and professionalism.

The aim: Create a professional industry appropriate brand identity that stands out.

Project requirements:

  • Explore logo design, iconography, logotype and typefaces, colours and orientation (landscape & portrait).

  • Considerations of DECCAN's core values and mission

Creative approach delivered:

The brand design developed targeted Dietitian's actively treating adults with IBD and within the IBD community across Australia, while promoting team work and the passion associated within the Dietitian Crohn's Colitis Australian Network.

  • Key points of logo design are as follows;

    • Collaborative Network

    • Australia Shape

    • Abstract External Tube

    • Multiple 'Dietitians’ make the network - two 'D' shapes connecting.

    • Colour is based on the Australian gum leaf flower pink.

    • Lowercase name - more approachable and friendly
