The Cabinet Australia – Brand Identity Design

Creating a purpose built strategically-led business brand identity.

The Cabinet – Australia is a small independent consulting business focused on helping Australian organisations improve business performance by improving their brand and customer experience, specifically their strategy and execution.

It is a strategically-led offer that is agnostic about execution and operates from insight through to strategy and supports implementation and measurement. Put simply, The Cabinet – Australia has a real focus on using brand and customer experience as drivers to improve business performance.

It is focused on three key principles:

  • Insight-led

  • Outcome-focused

  • Human-centred

Objective

  • To establish an identity and communication toolkit that will help formally launch The Cabinet – Australia

  • Provided a platform to grow as a business and establish a greater presence for communicating the proposition to a broader audience.  

  • Adopt a professional and established approach and requires the necessary identity and tools to support this.

What was required

  • Brand identity inclusive of logo, colour palette, typefaces, iconography, illustration and photography.

  • Demonstration of how this would be executed across website, ppt, business card and advertising.

  • Brand style guide document.

Design Solution

The end result was a bold contemporary design execution appropriate for the marketplace and target audience of the business.

  • A ‘contemporary classic’ themed brand identity was developed to modernise the business.

  • A bright professional colour palette with a stand approachable yellow was implemented.

  • A wise owl was created to form a shorthand symbol for the brand.  It represents agility, wisdom, cleverness and collaboration.
