Bangalow Runners – Brand Creation
Brand strategy, identity design and activation of a local northern New South Wales running club.
Bangalow Runners was created with the aim of connecting local 2479 runners to establish a local running community.
“Bangalow is land locked for runners due to the busy roads that surround us. I saw plenty of runners around town while I was on runs, so wanted an avenue to meet them, therefore Bangalow Runners was born”.
Purpose
The purpose of Bangalow Runners is;
to share the passion for running, encourage and support people.
run for the feeling of moving ones body,
for the feeling of community.

Logo ‘B’ inspired by 1) the train track the runs through the middle of Bangalow and 2) represents a running path or track
Use of black and white as main colours was intentional, 1) to easily pair with runners existing gear and 2) look contemporary and relevant
The end result was a brand that has established a strong running community within Bangalow – engaging, approachable and authentic.
