Tommy Collins engaged me to develop a brand identity and packaging solution for their new cafe'/restaurant business venture Hawk & Hunter. Hawk and Hunter sell wholesale gourmet produce line which focuses on a ‘home grown/gourmet’ products, ranging from condiments to take home meals.
The brand design for the Hawk and Hunter had to be one that can grow as the business does e.g. have enough flexibility to live as a ‘on-off’ brand mark through to having sub labels for the different deliveries of the brand e.g. Hawk & Hunter Take Home Meals, Hawk & Hunter Sea Salt, Hawk & Hunter Toasted Muesli.
The brand design developed for Hawk and Hunter encompassed a ‘trust factor’, The logo/packaging is hand-crafted and commands attention and reinforces that the people who own the business are serious about sourcing good produce, and what they do, they do with a love. The packaging had to appeal to customers so that they would happily let the packaging sit on their kitchen bench, rather than in the pantry.
